Homeschooling and an Upcoming Review

As some of you know, I am now homeschooling a couple of my children. One in pre-K as she's a sponge who picks up everything and now is the time to start. The other is my 6 year old son. He had already learned to read quite a bit in 2 years of pre-K and then when we moved he was put in Kindergarten where they are teaching him the alphabet. He was bored and falling asleep, not doing his work. Who wants to trace shapes and letters for 8 hours a day when he'd already gone thru that 2 years prior? They called it a behavioral problem and tried to place the blame on him when, in reality, it is a failure of the school system and the one size fits all mentality. The no child left behind thing just means that they want to keep all kids on the same level...MEDIOCRE! So, instead he has started homeschooling and is doing AMAZINGLY!

That being said....

I've been invited to try Time4Learning for a month in exchange for a candid review. Their online program can be used for homeschool, as an after school tutorial and for summer learning. My opinion will be my own, so come back and read about my experience. You can write your own curriculum review, too!

See you at the end of 30 days(and of course sooner with other blog posts!
